An overlay panel may contain text and cutouts denoting where a connector, LCD or switch might be located on a front panel. By embossing an overlay it will turn into a keypad, helping to activate micro switches below your front panel. Clear, translucent and color transparent windows are designed into overlays as anti-glare protection for LCD displays, for LED indicator lights or for alpha-numeric displays. Custom overlays may also be integrated with front panels as a touch screen, membrane switch or rubber keypad.

Overlays come with an adhesive backer for laminating your custom graphics onto a front panel. Silk-screening directly to metal, Acrylics, ABS or label stock are also options.
